What are the Adventure Play School Visits?

ELHAP is open to schools for morning and afternoon adventure play sessions throughout term time. The focus is on providing opportunities for adventure play, being outdoors and experiencing play. School visits to ELHAP can help children burn off energy, get exercise an fresh air as well as meeting a variety of National Curriculum areas.

For any mainstream or special school including units and alternative provisions.

When are the Adventure Play School Visits?

Morning and afternoons on Tuesdays to Thursdays throughout term time at the following times:

Morning sessions: 10:00am - 12:00pm

Afternoon sessions 1:00pm - 3:00pm

How many children can a school bring?

Schools normally bring up to 30 children per visit

Does ELHAP provide transport?

Unfortunately, ELHAP cannot provide any transport at this time (we are working on the possibility of a new ELHAP minibus and driver to help the schools with transport)

Can schools come regularly or for one-off sessions?

Schools are welcome to visit ELHAP for just one session or attend on a regular basis (this can be weekly, fortnightly, monthly, termly etc)

Can schools come for whole day sessions?

We organise whole day visits for schools, especially for end of term visits, in the summer term.

How much do the Adventure Play School Visits cost?

From September 2024, we are having to charge £20 per school visit.

How can schools attend ELHAP?
